It is quite common to need to have furniture and boxes kept in storage for either short- or long-term periods. These can vary from a couple of days or weeks to several months.

Crown has its own 25,000 square foot storage facility right here in Chicago. It is security alarmed and sprinklered, with access limited strictly to Crown employees.

Depending on the time of year, the size of shipment and the length of time required for storage, Crown’s rates vary. Please call us at 773-296-6683 to fully discuss all your storage requirements.

It is important to remember that placing your shipment in storage effectively equates to doing your move twice. A local move going to storage will double in cost from a straight home-to-home delivery.

Once a shipment is in storage, there is no customer access. If you need any items from your load while it is in storage, there will be an additional charge for delivery. (movers, international movers.)

Payment for items in storage is based on the weight of the shipment. You will be given both a monthly and a daily rate. Storage is generally billed monthly. Crown accepts personal checks, money order or cash.
