To start off a successful, stress-free move, the first thing you will want to do is get an ESTIMATE. Call Crown Relocations Inc. on 773-296-6683 to get the ball rolling.

A member of Crown’s experienced and dedicated sales staff will take your call and is able to listen to your needs to decide the best way to help and serve you.
Be sure to explain where you are moving to and from and the proposed date of your move. Our staff will probably have a few more detailed questions to ask you, such as the size of your current residence, what type of place it is (single-family home, apartment, walk-up, high-rise, etc.) as well as whether you intend to pack your own boxes or if you require Crown to perform that service.

Based on the information you give our sales staff, they will usually be able to give you a ballpark $$$ quote for your move. They will also ask if you would like a representative to call at your home to provide a full survey and a written estimate.

Crown recommends that you take advantage of the offer of a written estimate, which is free and non-obligatory. This allows our representative to see precisely what you intend to move in terms of furniture, electronics, artwork etc., and also to gauge the number of boxes you will require for packing purposes. Again, it is crucial to be precise about any items you will require Crown to pack. This is especially important for objects such as glass-topped tables and paintings. At the time of the survey our representative will also outline Crown’s options for insurance and/or valuation in terms of loss and damage protection. Depending on the size of the survey, our staff will have your written estimate ready for you on the spot or within a couple of days. Again, depending on the nature of your move, this may be either binding (fixed price) or non-binding (probable cost). It is crucial there be no confusion between either yourself or our representative as to the status of your estimate in order for the move to progress smoothly and without unnecessary complications.
